An Art Deco-era cameo of a gorgeous Gibson girl. She gazes out of frame, depicted in profile with a luxurious pompadour. Rich blossoms bloom in her hair and upon her décolleté bodice. She is presented en habillé, wearing a delicate silver heart locket set with a tiny rose-cut diamond. When a piece of jewelry depicts a person wearing jewelry, it is called en habillé, French for the word "dressed." The carved shell cameo sits in a 14k gold collar within a halo of gold filigree. The brooch fastens with a secure rollover pin. Utterly charmante. Circa 1920.
Description.....The brooch measures 1.70" by 2.07". In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
